GCCHA got our show season started on February 28th at the Diaz Ranch in Woodland.  We had 89 works and the three fresh cattle classes seemed to work well.  Tom brought in new sand and it held up great.  Thanks to Ron Koenig, John Primasing, and Ron Campbell for handling the cattle.  Joey Kinser handled the judging duties.

We have finalized our show schedule.  Check our website for the list of shows.  We have added a show for March 21st and will not be having a show in July.  Please help us get the word out about the show on the 21st.

We will be providing three saddles this year.  We have grouped classes into Open, Non-pro and Amateur categories and will award the saddle to the horse or rider who has the most points in one class.  See the newsletter for more information.  In addition we will be providing awards to Champion through sixth place in each class.
